The Undercrown Shade Toro Especial is a medium-bodied Nicaraguan cigar that presents a creamy interpretation of Drew Estate’s Undercrown line. Its Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper surrounds an Indonesian Sumatra binder and a blend of Dominican Criollo ’98 and Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo fillers. Notes of toasted nuts, sweet cream, vanilla, and caramel are balanced by gentle pepper and earthy undertones. The Toro Especial offers this blend in a 6 × 50 format, slightly slimmer than the standard Gran Toro.
