Tatuaje's roots date back to 2003 in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood, where it started as a modest venture. As the brand, crafted by José "Pepin" Garcia, gained popularity, it developed a dedicated following. Although the majority of Tatuaje's production has since shifted to Nicaragua, elevating its status beyond a niche brand, the core line remains in Miami under the guidance of brand owner Pete Johnson. The original sizes, now affectionately referred to as "Brown Label" by enthusiasts, are still manufactured in a compact factory located behind the My Father Cigars headquarters in Doral, Florida. This intimate production space features a handful of rolling tables, where small batches of Brown Label cigars are carefully handcrafted. The Cabinet Noellas are packaged in a slide-lid cabinet and boast an intense aroma, rich with notes of leather, spice, and cinnamon, and a dense construction.
