The La Opulencia blend is a luxurious union of Mexican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, featuring a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper, referred to as Rosado Oscuro. Beneath this wrapper lie two Nicaraguan binders, Corojo and Criollo, which enhance the cigar's body. The filler is a rich blend of Cuban seed tobaccos cultivated by the Garcia family on their Nicaraguan farms, including El Pedrero, Las Lometas, and La Bonita. This carefully crafted blend represents a refined iteration of the Mexico-Nicaragua combination, showcasing the Garcia family's expertise and resulting in a complex, full-bodied smoke with a visually stunning appearance. The neatly box-pressed cigars are adorned with a secondary band bearing the "La Opulencia" name, signifying its status as a spin-off from the core My Father line. Upon smoking, the tobaccos harmonize to produce a rich experience. With each puff, the perfect combustion yields earthy notes of chocolate and cocoa, complemented by a balanced mid-palate oakiness and subtle top notes of anise and nougat. As the cigar progresses, its strength and flavor intensity gradually increase, demonstrating a satisfying evolution.
