Its distinctive Ecuadorian Habano and Candela wrapper combination surrounds an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The blend emphasizes a spice-forward character, while the contrasting wrapper leaves give it a recognizable appearance. Presented in a 5¾ × 48 format, Avispa takes its name from the Spanish word for wasp.
